Unilever: Project Sunlight

Fantastic new work by Unilever and Ogilvy (UK & South America). As advertisers we have a huge amount of power, so it’s always great to see that power being put to use for the betterment of the world.
The campaign is called “Project Sunlight”, it’s a global sustainability initiative aiming to help create a better future for our children. To launch it they filmed the below clip asking real expectant parents “Why bring a child into this world”. Find out more at https://www.projectsunlight.com

British Airways: #lookup Billboards

British-Airways-interactive-billboards-1

Rather clever use of digital billboard advertising by British Airways and the team at our Ogilvy London office.
As British Airways planes fly over the billboards, they trigger advertising creative showing real-time data of that plane, including destination and flight number. The billboard even uses data from a weather feed to get the cloud height, ensuring the plane is visible before showing the ad.

Wear a Lifejacket

Our latest print campaign for the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) demonstrates how wearing a lifejacket can save your life by making you much easier to spot when you’re in the water. Lifejackets not only help you stand out from the surrounding colours of the ocean, they also keep you afloat and make the NSRI’s chances of finding you much greater.

The NSRI is one of our pro bono clients – an organization of approximately 900 unpaid volunteers – on duty 24/7, ready to save people off South African shores.

At the ceremony held at the Artscape Theatre on Thursday 14 November, O&M CT won nine awards in total – we were one of only two agencies to win multiple gold awards.

Gold awards went to the massively popular ‘Klein Kimmie’ campaign for Halls (Mondelez SA) and the ‘Send Your Facebook Profile to Cape Town’ campaign for Cape Town Tourism, which also received a Gold Loerie and a coveted Cannes Gold Lion earlier this year. Work for Audi South Africa won two silver and three bronze Bookmarks.

YouTube sensation Klein Kimmie was ecstatic and said her award “went out to my mense there in Olivedale, nê.”
