Take a look at Facebook’s upcoming new news feed design. The new design aims to take away a lot of the clutter, give more info on links/pictures, and replicate the functionality across mobile and tablet devices. Much better layout. Everyone is going chromeless these days. It makes the data more appealing. I wonder if FB will cater for widescreen. Currently Google+ just has a huge amount of space on a wide screen. A two column layout for widescreen would use the space better. (infinity scroll with 2 column jQuery grid)
